How the picks are made
A desktop app runs every match through four steps. A pick is only called a bet when the numbers back it up; most days that means safe picks, not big promises.

Odds from many bookmakers, with their margin taken out, give the starting chance for every outcome.

Team ratings, expected goals and form get a say only where two years of week-by-week testing prove they help.

What a likely pick really means
A 75% pick still loses one bet in four. Below its break-even price it loses money over time, even though it usually wins.

Hi, I'm RS. I built BetLab because most tipsters only show their wins. Here every pick shows its chance and its price before kickoff, and every result stays on the page, good or bad.
Behind the site is a desktop app that checks each match against the betting market and several rating models, tests itself on two years of past matches, and keeps its own honest record.

Questions
Are these picks guaranteed?
No. A pick is a chance, not a promise. The record and the monthly audits show exactly how they did.
Why are most picks safe picks rather than bets?
Bookmakers' prices are usually right. A bet needs a real edge at the best price, and those are rare; a safe pick is likely and fairly priced, without an edge.
What do I need to break even?
Divide 1 by the price: at 1.80 a pick must win 55.6% of the time to break even. The converter under How it works does it for you.
